Calvary greetings and welcome to our website!
Christ Assembly International consists of three distinct but inter-related activity centres. First, we are a church where God is worshipped through corporate praise, prayer, and proclamation of the Word. Essentially non-denominational and bible-believing, we consider discipleship training and individual witnessing as key to attaining and maintaining a Kingdom lifestyle. At 'The Assembly', we hold fast to the informational primacy of TEACHING God's Word even as we acknowledge that PREACHING the gospel is of equal importance. We believe that true worship proceeds from the knowledge and adherence to the Word of God. But we are ever so guided by Apostle Paul's admonition of Timothy encapsulated in '2 Timothy 3: 16 and 17' : (quote)
" All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be PERFECT ( emphasis is mine ), thoroughly furnished unto all good works." (unquote)
Second, as a Charitable Trust Organization, the 'Assembly's ' work of philanthropy focuses on the attainment and maintenance of a solid financial and resource base to execute our programs and services. Rounding off the three-legged configuration of 'The Assembly' are the social and community projects, programs and services that constitute our outreach profile. We like to refer to the latter as 'good works of the Kingdom'.
We envision ourselves as foot soldiers of the Kingdom and a work-in-progress in the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ. We exist to witness and to evangelize the Goods News. Like the 'Bereans' of the first century church, we will continue to search the Holy Scriptures if only to catch a glimpse of the Blessings that await the saints of God in Heaven. However, until Christ returns to take HIS saints up in the Rapture , His clarion call to the church is:
'Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure
to give you the kingdom' ...... Luke 12.32
Like a voice of one crying in the wilderness, God is beckoning to you to hurry to the foot of the CROSS and accept HIS Son as the only Way, the only TRUTH, and the only source of Everlasting Life. For reading this letter, you are blessed !
